Fireflies downgrade to Free: what you keep, what you lose

Short answer: There is no "downgrade to Free" button: Fireflies says that to move to the Free plan you cancel your subscription (Fireflies guide). The Downgrade option in Settings, Billing only steps Enterprise to Business or Business to Pro. On Free your meetings stay in the notebook within Free limits, but per-meeting downloads need Pro or higher and the API drops to 30 requests per minute and 500 per day.

How to get to Free

  1. Export what you need first (below).
  2. Go to Settings, Account, Subscriptions and click Cancel next to your plan; confirm the prompts. Full steps: how to cancel Fireflies.
  3. Your paid plan runs until the end of the billing cycle, then the account is on Free (Fireflies guide).

Only the billing admin can change the plan. If you only want fewer seats, Fireflies suggests removing teammates rather than changing plan (Fireflies guide).
