Short answer: Fireflies has a built-in way to get everything. Its account data export request returns a ZIP with all your meetings, including transcripts, within 24 to 48 hours (Fireflies guide). For a filtered or repeatable export, use the Fireflies GraphQL API. Single meetings download from the meeting page. If you want Markdown files and a CSV index right now instead of TXT files in a day or two, MinuteHaul's web exporter now supports Fireflies (beta).
Per Fireflies' guide:
Open a meeting and click the Download icon. Transcripts download as PDF, DOCX, SRT, CSV, JSON or MD, with optional timestamps and speaker labels. Downloads require a Pro plan or higher (Fireflies guide).
Use the API for filtered exports, such as a date range or one organizer. The transcripts query returns at most 50 transcripts per call; page with skip, and filter with fromDate and toDate (Fireflies API docs).
curl -X POST https://api.fireflies.ai/graphql \
-H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
--data '{"query":"{ transcripts(limit: 50, skip: 0) { id title date sentences { speaker_name text start_time } } }"}'Rate limits (Fireflies API limits):
transcripts/ (one Markdown file per meeting with speakers and timestamps, plus the Fireflies overview, action items and keywords if you tick that box), index.csv and all-transcripts.txt for ChatGPT, Claude or NotebookLM.Your key stays in browser memory and is never stored, and meeting content goes from Fireflies straight to your disk. Exporting takes about one API request per meeting, so Fireflies' Free plan limit of 500 requests a day caps a single run at roughly 490 meetings; Pro allows 5,000 a day. The 10 most recent meetings are free; a $29 license unlocks unlimited exports.
Other companies sell Fireflies exporters. For example, TranscriptExporter's site lists Fathom, Fireflies and Granola. We haven't tested it and have no affiliation with it. If you only need a one-off archive, try Fireflies' free account data export first.
Export Fireflies in one click. Pick Fireflies in the MinuteHaul web exporter (beta): one ZIP of Markdown transcripts, a CSV index and a combined text file. Your 10 most recent meetings are free.
