MinuteHaul / Guides / Fireflies download transcript
How to download Fireflies transcripts (one meeting or all of them)
Short answer: Fireflies lets you download one transcript at a time from the meeting page, in PDF, DOCX, SRT, CSV, JSON or MD, on Pro plans and higher (Fireflies: how to download transcripts, summaries and recordings). For all of them, request Fireflies' free account data export (TXT, 24 to 48 hours), use the API, or use MinuteHaul (Fireflies support in beta). Disclosure: MinuteHaul publishes this page. On the Free plan? See downloading Fireflies transcripts on the Free plan. Want audio or video? See how to download a Fireflies recording.
One transcript vs. all of them

| Speed | Instant | 24 to 48 hours, emailed link valid 7 days | Minutes, in your browser |
| Cost | Included in plan | Free | 10 most recent free, then $19 one-time |
1. Download one Fireflies transcript
- Log in and click Meetings in the left menu.
- Find the meeting with the search bar or filters (My Meetings, All Meetings, Channels) and open it.
- Click the Download icon at the bottom center.
- Choose Transcript, then pick a file format (PDF, DOCX, SRT, CSV, JSON or MD) and whether to include timestamps and speaker labels. Paid plans can also tick Remove Fireflies Branding.
- Click Download.
Fireflies states downloads are “available on Fireflies Pro plans and higher.” If the button is missing, the meeting may still be processing or you may lack access; if it is disabled, check your plan. 2. Download all Fireflies transcripts
The Download button has no select-all; it works per meeting. Three ways to get the whole archive:
- Account data export (free): submit Fireflies' data request form and confirm the email. Fireflies says it supports full exports for all users and sends a ZIP link within 24 to 48 hours, valid for 7 days, with transcripts as TXT with speaker identification, summaries as TXT, audio/video and JSON metadata (Fireflies: export your account data).
- The Fireflies API: script it yourself; see Fireflies API key and rate limits.
- MinuteHaul: no code, below.
Step-by-step detail for each route is in how to bulk export Fireflies transcripts, and a side-by-side including third-party tools is in Fireflies bulk export: every option compared.
3. Or have Fireflies save them to Google Drive or Docs
If you only want transcripts landing somewhere outside Fireflies, its native integrations may be enough: Fireflies documents a Google Drive integration (Fireflies: Google Drive integration) and a Google Docs integration (Fireflies: Google Docs integration), both with an option to push past meetings. Check the plan notes in those articles for your workspace. More in Fireflies to Google Docs.
4. All transcripts with MinuteHaul (beta)
Pick Fireflies in the MinuteHaul web exporter and paste your Fireflies API key. It builds one ZIP in your browser: a speaker-labeled Markdown transcript per meeting plus an index.csv listing every meeting, with optional all-transcripts.txt (one combined file) and all.jsonl. It does not output PDF or DOCX; for those, use Fireflies' own Download button. Fireflies support is in beta, and it can only reach what the Fireflies API returns for your key. Your 10 most recent meetings are free; then $19 one-time for the whole archive.
Which to pick
- One meeting, on Pro or higher, need PDF/DOCX: the Download button.
- Everything, can wait 1 to 2 days, TXT is fine: the account data export.
- Everything, now, as Markdown + CSV: MinuteHaul, $19 one-time (try 10 meetings free first; beta).
- On the Free plan: Free-plan options.

FAQ
How do I download a transcript from Fireflies? Open the Meetings tab, open the meeting, click the Download icon at the bottom center, choose Transcript, pick a file format and options (timestamps, speaker labels), then click Download.
What formats can I download a Fireflies transcript in? Fireflies lists PDF, DOCX, SRT, CSV, JSON and MD for transcripts. Summaries download as DOCX, PDF, JSON or MD; video as MP4 and audio as MP3.
Which Fireflies plan do I need to download a transcript? Fireflies says downloading transcripts, summaries and recordings is available on Pro plans and higher, and a disabled Download button usually means the plan does not allow it. For Free-plan workarounds see our Free plan guide.
Can I download all my Fireflies transcripts at once? Not with the Download button, which works per meeting. Fireflies offers a full account data export to all users on request (transcripts as TXT, metadata as JSON, delivered by email in 24 to 48 hours). The Fireflies API or a tool built on it, such as MinuteHaul, can also fetch every transcript.
What file types does MinuteHaul produce? One Markdown (.md) transcript per meeting and an index.csv in a ZIP, plus optional all-transcripts.txt and all.jsonl files. It does not produce PDF or DOCX. Its Fireflies support is in beta.
Why is the Fireflies Download button missing or disabled? Fireflies says the meeting must be fully processed and you need access to it; transcript options appear only if a transcript exists; and a disabled button means checking your plan, since downloads need Pro or higher.
