How to export Fireflies transcripts to CSV (all meetings)
Short answer: Fireflies can download one transcript at a time as CSV, on Pro plans and higher. There is no native “export all to CSV”: the free whole-account export arrives as TXT transcripts plus JSON metadata. To get every meeting into one spreadsheet, either convert that JSON, script the Fireflies API, or use MinuteHaul (Fireflies support in beta), which writes an index.csv of every meeting plus a Markdown transcript per meeting. Disclosure: MinuteHaul publishes this page.
Your three options
| Per-meeting download | Account data export | Fireflies API (DIY) | MinuteHaul (beta) | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| CSV? | Yes, one file per meeting | No: TXT transcripts, JSON metadata | You write it | index.csv of all meetings + Markdown transcripts |
| All meetings at once | No | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Plan | Pro or higher | All users | All plans, rate-limited | Any plan with an API key |
| Wait | Instant | 24 to 48 h, link valid 7 days | Your build time | Minutes, in your browser |
| Cost | Included in plan | Free | Free | 10 most recent free, then $19 one-time |
1. Download a single transcript as CSV (Pro and higher)
Open the meeting from the Meetings tab, click the Download icon at the bottom center, choose Transcript, set the file format to CSV (PDF, DOCX, SRT, JSON and MD are also offered) and tick “Include timestamps” and “Include speaker labels”. Fireflies says downloads are available on Pro plans and higher and the button is disabled otherwise (Fireflies: download transcripts, summaries and recordings). Fine for a few meetings; for hundreds you end up with hundreds of separate files.
2. Request the account data export, then convert
Fireflies says it supports full data exports for all users on request. Submit the data request form, approve the confirmation email (subject “Action Required – Confirm Your Data Export Request”), and a ZIP link arrives within 24 to 48 hours, valid for 7 days. It contains MP3 audio, MP4 video if available, TXT transcripts with speaker identification, TXT summaries, attendee information and JSON metadata (Fireflies: export your account data). There's no CSV in it, so to get a spreadsheet you'd parse the JSON metadata into rows yourself. This is the right choice if you also want recordings and can wait two days.
3. Build the CSV from the Fireflies API
The API works on every plan with your own API key, but Fireflies caps Free at 30 requests per minute and 500 per day (the first 14 days as an API user run at Pro limits) and Pro at 60 per minute and 5,000 per day; Business and Enterprise have no daily cap (Fireflies API limits). List transcripts, fetch each one, and write one row per meeting (and a separate file per transcript, since full transcripts are too long for a single cell to be useful). See Fireflies API key and rate limits.
4. MinuteHaul: every meeting into one CSV index (beta)
Pick Fireflies in the MinuteHaul web exporter, paste your Fireflies API key, and it builds one ZIP in your browser:
index.csv: one row per meeting withid, title, date, duration_sec, organizer, participants, file, status. Opens in Excel and Google Sheets. Meetings without a transcript are listed as skipped, not silently dropped.transcripts/: one speaker-labeled Markdown file per meeting, which thefilecolumn points to.- Optional
all-transcripts.txtfor ChatGPT, Claude or NotebookLM, and optionalall.jsonlwith every transcript segment if you want one CSV row per spoken line.
Fireflies support is beta. It exports transcripts and metadata, not audio or video. Your 10 most recent meetings are free; then $19 one-time covers all your Fireflies (beta) and tl;dv meetings. Compare it with the other tools in Fireflies bulk export: every option compared.

FAQ
Can Fireflies export transcripts to CSV? Yes, one meeting at a time. Fireflies says you can download a transcript as PDF, DOCX, SRT, CSV, JSON or MD from the meeting view, with optional timestamps and speaker labels, on Pro plans and higher. The Download button is disabled on lower plans.
Can I export all Fireflies transcripts to CSV at once? Not natively as CSV. Fireflies' whole-account data export (free, for all users, on request) arrives as a ZIP within 24 to 48 hours with transcripts and summaries as TXT and metadata as JSON, so you would convert the JSON yourself. The Fireflies API or MinuteHaul (beta) can build a CSV index of every meeting.
What columns does the MinuteHaul CSV have? index.csv has one row per meeting: id, title, date, duration_sec, organizer, participants, file and status. The file column points to that meeting's Markdown transcript in the same ZIP. Meetings without a transcript are listed as skipped rather than dropped.
Do I need a paid Fireflies plan? For per-meeting CSV downloads, yes (Pro or higher). The account data export is for all users. The Fireflies API is available on every plan, with Free limited to 30 requests per minute and 500 per day (your first 14 days as an API user run at Pro limits) and Pro to 60 per minute and 5,000 per day, per Fireflies' limits page.
Is MinuteHaul's Fireflies support finished? No, it is in beta. MinuteHaul's tl;dv export is its main supported path; the Fireflies exporter uses the Fireflies API with your own key, and you can try it free on your 10 most recent meetings before paying $19 one-time.
