How to bulk export Read AI transcripts

Short answer: In Read AI you download content from each meeting report's Download menu (Read help). There is no documented download-all button. For bulk export, Read AI offers a REST API, currently in open beta (API reference). Read AI says the API and its MCP server are available on all plans, including Free (Read help).

What MinuteHaul does and doesn't support

Supported: tl;dv, in the web exporter and the free CLI. Avoma, in the CLI only (beta).
Not supported yet: Read AI. MinuteHaul cannot export from Read AI today. This page explains the native and API options so you can do it yourself.
If you export Read AI transcripts some other way, the free transcript cleaner tidies a transcript for ChatGPT or Claude in your browser.

Option 1: download from each meeting report

Open a report and click Download (top right). Pick the section to download, such as the transcript. Anyone who can view a report can download it, unless their workspace has disabled report downloads. Video (.mp4) downloads need video playback enabled and the Enterprise plan (Read help).

Option 2: Read AI's REST API (bulk)

Get an access token. The API uses OAuth 2.1 with dynamic client registration: register a client, approve it in the browser at Read AI's OAuth page, then exchange the code for tokens. Access tokens expire after 10 minutes, and refresh tokens rotate on every use (Read help).
List meetings with transcripts expanded:

Pages hold at most 10 meetings. While has_more is true, request the next page with cursor= set to the id of the last meeting on the current page (API reference).

Limits and prerequisites: the API returns HTTP 429 above 100 requests per minute per user (API reference). Read AI notes that expanded fields make responses slower. If you belong to a workspace, it must have Downloads enabled in Workspace Settings → Reports & Sharing (Read help).

Option 3: ask questions without exporting (MCP)

If you mainly want to search your meetings in ChatGPT or Claude, Read AI offers an MCP server and official ChatGPT and Claude connectors (Read help). That queries your data in place; it is not an archive you keep.
